This is a new excursion which can be done alone or combined with other activities in the area. This program was designed to generate funds for the children to stay in school while also maintaining their cultural roots. The dance group is made up of 10 children ages 6-10 yrs. from some of the poorest families in the village. The children present a few of the local / native (short) dances involving the crop planting and corn harvest. A small snack (safe to eat) is presented after the dances. This is an excellent opportunity to see local culture and interact with the children. FAMILIES WELCOME.
